JUNTOS (together) was a technical and creative event dedicated to sharing cultures and causes, in this case, human rights defence and the eradication of Female Genital Mutilation and Forced Marriage from Europe and from the World.
Youth from United Kingdom, Portugal, Ireland and The Netherlands have joined forces to end violence against women and put a stop to harmful traditional practices such as FGM and forced marriage.
The research entitled “‘I Carry the Name of my Parents’: Young People’s Reflections on FGM and Forced Marriage” collected young people’s views and experiences of Female Genital Mutilation and Forced Marriage across the UK, Portugal and the Netherlands.
